ATKINSON COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Thanksgiving countdown has begun, and the Tyreek Hill Foundation is working to make sure tables in the City of Pearson stay full this holiday season.
Virginia and Herman Hill spent today loading up Thanksgiving meals and delivering food to senior citizens across Pearson. The couple has been serving their community for years and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, a milestone they say makes giving back even more meaningful.

“We love everybody, and everybody knows us. We go around and talk to the elderly to make sure they have everything. We don’t just go around for Thanksgiving. We go year-round. When we’re home, we go around and talk to the elderly and remind them, ‘Hey, someone is really here thinking about me.’ That’s us, the Hill family,” the couple told WALB.
For the Hills, this work is more than a holiday gesture. It’s a year-round mission to make sure Pearson’s elderly feel supported and never forgotten.
The Tyreek Hill Foundation continues its efforts through the holiday season, aiming to reach as many seniors as possible with meals, encouragement, and community support.
