COFFEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office has released an update in the ongoing investigation involving Jonathan Leaven Tucker Jr., who was arrested on Monday, October 20, 2025, following a violent incident at a residence on Wood Duck Road on Friday, October 17.

At the time of his arrest, Tucker faced multiple charges, including kidnapping with injury, home invasion in the first degree, aggravated assault, and felony theft by taking.

After further review by investigators with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, and in consultation with the District Attorney’s Office, the charges have since been modified.

As of October 22, 2025, Tucker now faces the following charges:

• Burglary – O.C.G.A. 16-7-1
• Robbery – O.C.G.A. 16-8-40
• Aggravated Battery – O.C.G.A. 16-5-24
• Elderly Abuse – O.C.G.A. 16-5-102

Tucker remains in custody at the Coffee County Pre-Trial Detention Center pending further judicial proceedings.

Authorities say the case remains under active investigation, and no further details will be released at this time.
