VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) — A 39-year-old man was arrested Saturday night, Dec. 20, after police heard him fire multiple gunshots while they were investigating a domestic dispute.

Valdosta police arrested Osberto Lopez-Gonzalez after officers heard gunshots near Ponderosa Drive and Claudia Circle.

Lopez-Gonzalez told officers he had been drinking and fired his gun into nearby bushes.

He was taken to the Lowndes County Jail and charged with reckless conduct and discharging a firearm near a public street.
