VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - Valdosta Police are asking for the public’s help locating Richard Devonne Faulk, 29, of Valdosta.
According to police, on Feb. 21 at 1:30 a.m., a Valdosta Police officer was working at Peaches Night Club. As people were leaving, the officer saw a pickup truck stop in the middle of Bemiss Road.
The officer saw a male, later identified as Faulk, arguing with a group of people, police said.

Officer disarms Faulk before he ran
The officer told Faulk to get back in his vehicle and asked everyone to leave the area. Shortly after, the officer said she heard someone yell about a gun.
The officer saw Faulk reaching for a firearm tucked in the front waistband of his pants. The officer grabbed the firearm and removed it from Faulk’s possession. While dealing with the crowd and the firearm, the officer gave Faulk verbal commands not to move, but he fled the scene.
Police spoke with the people Faulk had been arguing with, but no one cooperated or provided statements to officers.
Warrants issued on four charges
Arrest warrants have been obtained for Faulk on the following charges:
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Obstruction of an officer
Driving on a suspended license
Obstructing highways, streets, sidewalks, or other public passages
Anyone with information regarding Faulk’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Valdosta Police Department at (229) 293-3150.
