ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — WALB News 10 at 6 p.m. will be preempted on broadcast television Saturday, Sept. 26 due to college football game coverage.

The newscast will still be produced live and streamed exclusively across WALB’s digital platforms. The live stream will be available on the WALB News 10 app, at WALB.com, and through the WALB News app on connected streaming devices.

Live WALB newscasts, breaking news cut-ins and on-demand video are also available through a Roku Express device.

How to get connected with Roku Express

• Pick up a device: Roku Express streaming players are available at major local retailers, including Walmart, Target and Best Buy, or online for under $30.
• Plug in and set up: Connect the device to a TV’s HDMI port, plug it into power, and connect it to a home Wi-Fi network.
• Add the WALB channel: From the Roku home screen, go to “Search” or the “Streaming Store,” look for WALB News 10, and select Add Channel.
• Stream 24/7: Open the app to watch the 6 p.m. Saturday newscast live, stream daily morning and evening broadcasts, and access First Alert weather updates.
