ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - When WALB’s First Alert Weather team tells you to get to your safe room during severe weather, you want Midland’s NOAA Weather and Emergency Alert Radio with you.
WALB and ACE Hardware are hosting a weather safety event on Thursday, July 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at ACE Hardware at Oakland.
Weather radios will be discounted to $39.99.
WALB meteorologists will be at the event to help program your radio and answer questions about the weather app.
When the power is out and the cell tower is down, a weather radio can keep you safe. Get yours July 17!
