Description
THURSDAY PM: A few showers are starting to enter our far southeastern communities as of lunch hour. A few more chances for showers and storms continue later this afternoon but not everyone will get them. High temperatures will again reach the middle 90s with heat indices nearing 105.
FRIDAY: First half of the day starts mostly sunny and muggy. Afternoon shower and thunderstorm chances rise with some heavy downpours possible, especially south.
WEEKEND: Saturday still looks to be the driest day of the Labor Day weekend. Sunday afternoon turns wetter and Monday turns a bit cooler as a weak back door cold front works through the area. Heavy downpours will be possible.
NEXT WEEK: Seasonable temperatures and mostly rain free conditions are expected.
