THURSDAY PM: A muggier start heats up to the lower 90s this afternoon with heat indices just shy of 100 once again. Scattered showers and thunderstorms move southeast to northwest midafternoon to the early evening. Heavy downpours and gusty winds will be possible.
FRIDAY: Drier air returns sending afternoon heat indices to 100.
WEEKEND: Most of Saturday should be rain free, except for communities east of I-75. Rain chances rise through Sunday afternoon as a Tropical Wave runs into coastal Georgia. Some heavy downpours will be possible.
EARLY NEXT WEEK: Hotter and drier with heat indices 100-105 in the afternoon.
