CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — More Penn State international students are reportedly having their visas revoked.
Last week, a dozen students were being forced to leave the country; now, another group of students is facing the same situation.
On Tuesday, another 10 Penn State students had their visas revoked, making a total of 22 students, that we know about, who have been told they'll need to leave.

The notice the students received from federal authorities informed them that their student visas were being revoked, with no grace period.
The students were told that the office of Homeland Security is notified, and if they violate the provisions, they can be deported at any time, even to a country that may not even be their home country.
During his visit to Centre County on Tuesday, WJAC asked U.S. Senator Dave McCormick about international students being deported.
“My view on this is that we need to do two things at the same time: be very rigorous enforcing our immigration law, securing the border and making sure the people here are good actors, as there’s been people on legal status that have stolen state secrets, have violated campus research principles, while at the same time continuing to evolve and reform our legal immigration process so that we continue to be that shining light on the hill.”
All those in Centre County who have had visas revoked have been in the legal system on minor charges.
Last week, the dozen cited were in a probation program on retail theft charges; for the latest group, it’s DUI, or a similar infraction.
