ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - A window tint violation led to multiple felony drug trafficking arrests on Monday, March 9, according to the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).
Deputies said they pulled over a white Buick for suspected window tint violations and for failing to signal a turn in the 700 block of Slappy Boulevard. A DCSO press release said deputies searched the vehicle after noticing a strong smell of marijuana. Officers reportedly uncovered two pistols and drug paraphernalia.
A .40-caliber Glock 27 and a 9mm-Taurus G2 were found in the Buick along with 456 grams of marijuana, multiple small plastic baggies, a scale and $861 in cash, officials said.

DCSO said that everyone in the vehicle was arrested but did not specify exactly how many individuals were in the vehicle.
Officials said the suspects were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime. The suspects are currently in the Dougherty County Jail.
