MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that happened Sunday morning in the 1800 block of Crystal Lake Circle.

The incident occurred just before 10:00 a.m. Deputies say a 28-year-old man was shot outside the location. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigators say the case is still in its early stages, and more details will be released as they become available.
