LEESBURG, Ga. (WALB) - Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) officials arrested three individuals and recovered thousands of dollars in stolen property on Wednesday, Jan. 28, during the execution of a search warrant at 443 Jordan Road, according to a Facebook post by the sheriff’s office.
The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) had been investigating multiple thefts in their county and identified the Jordan Road residence in Lee County as a location where stolen property was believed to be hidden.
Officials said deputies from the LCSO’s Criminal Investigation Division, Narcotics Investigation Division, Special Victims Unit and Uniform Patrol Division assisted MCSO in the early-morning operation.
Upon arrival, officers reportedly discovered multiple individuals with active and outstanding arrest warrants inside the residence, including suspects connected to the Mitchell County thefts.
The three individuals who were arrested are listed below:
Taylor Blake Brookerd
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Fentanyl
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
- Warrant for Larceny (Calhoun County)
- Warrant for Probation Violation (Smithville)
Jason Michael Pinner
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Warrant for Failure to Appear (Tifton)
Nicole Kristine Sutherland
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Drug-Related Objects
- Warrant for Receiving Stolen Property (Calhoun County)
Officers said they recovered approximately 38.5 grams (1.36 ounces) of methamphetamine during the operation:
- Pinner: 24.6 grams
- Brookerd and Sutherland: 13.9 grams combined
Brookerd was also found in possession of a small quantity of fentanyl.
Stolen Property Recovered
The search resulted in the recovery of 15 items of stolen property, including:
- Milwaukee power tools (hydraulic crimper, 3/4 drive impact, hydraulic pump, mag drill press and jackhammer)
- Vanguard Instruments Co. electronic equipment
- TopCon laser equipment
- Precision measurement instruments (Dillon force measurement instruments, Megger earth tester, digital voltage indicator)
- Additional specialized equipment (hot stick tester block)
