ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Two Westover High School seniors are set to receive the first awards from a newly launched local scholarship program this weekend.

Four students created the Pathways Scholarship, a program designed to support graduating seniors. The inaugural ceremony is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the Bread House.

Organizers said the event is a chance to showcase local student leadership and community support.
