ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Albany Utilities is delaying the introduction of new paper bills and credit card fees.

City leaders said the $0.50 paper bill fee and 0.5% credit or debit card fee were supposed to take effect on April 6.

The City will release the new implementation date once one has been set.

According to officials, the release will be shared with the media, social media, and on the city’s website.

The delay is now pending further review and discussion.
