ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — The Albany Police Department (APD) responded to a home in the 1600 block of Devon Drive regarding a reported robbery.

According to APD, a juvenile victim told officers that another juvenile stole his bicycle and then shot him multiple times with a BB gun.

The incident occurred around 4:43 p.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2025.

The juvenile victim sustained an injury to the eye and was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Police detained the juvenile suspect on charges of robbery by intimidation and aggravated assault. The suspect was taken to the Regional Youth Detention Center in Terrell County.
