ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — The Albany Police Department (APD) is offering a civilian ride-along program that gives community members a firsthand look at what an officer’s day looks like.
The program allows participants to observe officers responding to calls, serving the public and working to keep neighborhoods safe.
Applications for the ride along program are open now. You can fill an application out using this link.
