ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — The Albany Police Department (APD) is offering a civilian ride-along program that gives community members a firsthand look at what an officer’s day looks like.

The program allows participants to observe officers responding to calls, serving the public and working to keep neighborhoods safe.
