Description
PELHAM, Ga. (WALB) - The Mitchell County coroner confirmed Saturday, April 18, that he was on the scene along Kierce Road after a body was found inside a burning car.
Coroner Robby Willis said he was called out around 10:20 p.m. Saturday night to Kierce Road outside of Pelham, in the direction of Meigs.
According to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP), there was no evidence of a vehicle crash.
Mitchell County Fire officials said Sunday that the State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating this incident.
No further information has been released at this time.
