ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Two brothers were arrested on Wednesday, March 18, in connection with an armed robbery at a convenience store on East Broad Avenue.

Officers responded to the Dixie Convenience Store at 1400 E. Broad Ave. on March 18, according to the Albany Police Department.

Two males entered the store armed with firearms and forced the clerk behind the counter, police said. The suspects struck the clerk while demanding money, then cleared the cash drawer and took the clerk’s wallet before fleeing.

The clerk told officers the two males had previously been inside the store.

Police identified the suspects as Randrick Taylor, 17, and Randy Taylor, 20. Both are brothers, according to police.

The suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Dougherty County Jail. They face charges of armed robbery and aggravated assault.
