CAIRO, Ga. (WALB) - The City of Cairo officially broke ground on the new Holder Park Pavilion, a SPLOST-funded project that will enhance recreational amenities for the community.

The project totals $239,064.77 and is being constructed by DR Dunn Construction. The pavilion is expected to be completed by mid-May.
City staff helped make the groundbreaking event a success. The evening featured a live performance by Steve Walden and Friends, bouncy houses for children, and free food provided by Tarven 152.
