TODAY/TOMORROW- Warming up into the low 70s today with clouds breaking for more sunshine this afternoon. A milder evening is expected with a chance of showers after midnight. Lows are in the upper 50s tonight. That chance for rain extends through the afternoon as a cold front approaches, highs are in the mid 70s. It should pass tomorrow night.

THURSDAY/FRIDAY- We cool a little, mostly felt in the overnight lows. Sunshine returns to end the work week. The coldest morning will be Friday, in the upper 30s. However, the afternoon remains above average, generally in the 70s.

WEEKEND- Clouds and moisture roll in on Valentine’s Day with highs pushing into the low-mid 70s. Rain chances rise Saturday night and peak Sunday. Thunderstorms are expected and could turn strong. Gusty winds and heavy downpours will likely be the biggest threats. The rain will be welcome, with severe to extreme drought still dominating South Georgia.
