MOULTRIE, Ga. (WALB) - Moultrie’s one-stop shopping extravaganza will showcase artisans and crafters from across the Southeast selling exclusive handmade items.

Calico Arts and Crafts Coordinator, Olivia Griffin said the festival begins Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and goes until Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“We have a good amount of local vendors, but we also have vendors traveling from different states and different cities coming to Moultrie to spend their weekend with us,” Griffin said. “People from Moultrie and surrounding counties are making great connections with vendors from all across the Southeast.”

As locals prepare for severe storms this weekend, Griffin said plans for the festivals are remaining the same, and they will adjust as needed if necessary.

“We have moved our outdoor vendors inside to ensure a great shopping environment for everyone. An important checklist of items to have are great walking shoes to cover our booths, a reusable bag to collect purchases and an umbrella,” she said.

Admission is $5 for adults and free for children ten and under.
