GEORGIA. (WALB) — Georgia’s top industries and companies will represent the peach state in the Great American Fair celebrating America’s 250 birthday.
Key companies like Chick-fil-a and Waffle House will represent Georgia along with other key industries according to Governor Brian Kemp.
“Georgia is proud to join in the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th birthday by participating in the Great American State Fair,”
The Great American State Fair exhibit will open on June, 25, through July, 10, in Washington D.C. at the National Mall. Entrance is free, but advance registration is recommended.
The Fair will highlight American traditions, innovations, and the American spirit in light of the nation’s semi-quincentennial. According to the Governors office the Fair will have over 150 exhibits from all 50 states and 5 territories.
Georgia’s entry is hosted by the Office of the Governor and the Governors Office of Student Achievement. The entry is sponsored by:
- The Georgia Department of Economic Development
- Bland Farms
- Emerald Carpets
- Wayne-Sanderson Farms
- the Georgia Poultry Association
- Jaemor Farms
