TUESDAY PM: A mix of sun and clouds for most of us this afternoon. There is a chance of an isolated shower/thunderstorm for our far southern counties mid-late afternoon as the cold front from the north stalls. Highs will stay between the upper 80s and low 90s. More humid areas can see heat indices approach the century mark.

WEDNEDAY: The summer cold front will make its way in during the overnight hours, bringing drier air and morning lows in the 60s. Rain chances will be next to none and plenty of sunshine will hang around. Highs will sit in the mid to upper 80s.

THURSDAY: Mostly sunny in the morning with lows in the upper 60s to low 70s. The cold front will begin to retreat back to the north, allowing a high pressure that is meandering in the Gulf to funnel moisture back in. isolated showers and storms can return for some. Afternoon highs will sit in upper 80s to low 90s.

FRIDAY: Morning lows come back in the 70s and humidity will be back on the rise. Sunshine and low rain chances will remain, which will make heat indices climb into the triple digits. Afternoon highs in the low to mid 90s.

WEEKEND: More sunshine and a chance of an isolated shower/storm. Higher humidity sticks around to make those highs in the mid 90s feel above 100.

EARLY WEEK: Sunny and hot pattern continues. Some isolated showers/storms may cool off some but they will be scarce. Highs will continue in the mid 90s.
