Description
ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - The City of Albany’s Community & Economic Development department is asking residents to weigh in through a new Needs Assessment that will help shape the city’s priorities for the next five years.

The survey is intended to inform the City of Albany’s five-year Consolidated Plan and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice.
The Consolidated Plan identifies Albany’s general community needs and outlines a five-year strategy for using HUD grant funds to develop community resources that address those needs.
According to the city, HUD grant funding supports housing, infrastructure, and services for Albany residents. Public input helps determine how those resources are prioritized over the next five years.
