COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — The Colquitt County School District is welcoming five new leaders for the 2026-27 school year.

The following appointments have been announced:

• Tiffany Richey will serve as Principal of Funston Elementary School.

• Regina Bannister has been named Director of Vereen.

• Kati Strickland will serve as Director of Student Achievement.

• Casey Cope has been named Director of School Safety.

• Carlos Bautista has been named Director of the Achievement Center.

Superintendent Chappuis said each leader brings valuable experience supporting the district’s mission of “excellence for everyone and everyone.”
