CRISP COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) – One man has been arrested, and a woman remains wanted following an aggravated assault in Cordele on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

According to the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded shortly before noon to reports of an assault. Investigators say two suspects, Keyonna Killens and Anjarvius Lavant, allegedly kicked in a door and attacked a pregnant woman by hitting and kicking her. The victim was taken to Crisp Regional Hospital for treatment.

Anjarvius Lavant, 29, of Cordele was arrested and is facing the following charges:

• Aggravated Assault
• Home Invasion (2nd Degree)
• Criminal Damage to Property (2nd Degree)
• Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony

Keyonna Killens, 30, of Vienna is wanted and is facing the following charges:

• Aggravated Assault
• Criminal Attempt to Commit Feticide
• Home Invasion (1st Degree)
• Criminal Damage to Property (2nd Degree – 3 counts)

Killens is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, 185 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

The Crisp County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information on Killens’ whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
