DAWSON, Ga. (WALB) — The Dawson Police Department is searching for a suspect who walked out of a local pawn shop with a quantity of jewelry, police said.

According to police, on Aug. 14 the individual entered Dawson Pawn around 3:30 p.m. The suspect accessed a counter display case and took jewelry from it before leaving the business running south.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity or the incident is asked to contact the Dawson Police Department at (229) 995-4414.
