FORT GAINES, Ga. (WALB) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has confirmed they are investigating a death in Clay County.

The incident reportedly occurred just off Highway 37 outside of Fort Gaines. A GBI mobile crime scene unit and several investigators were at a mobile home on Timpson Lane, per the WALB crew who went to the scene.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office requested the GBI to investigate the death.
