ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Plans and choir rehearsals are being finalized for the 46^th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. breakfast, hosted by H.E.A.R.T., P & G and Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

On Sunday, Jan. 4’s Dialogue, Anne Johnson (CEO, H.E.A.R.T.); Bishop J. Nathan Paige (MLK Choir Director); and Orson Burton, Jr. (CEO, United Way of SWGA) previewed this year’s event which will feature Dr. E. Dewey Smith, Jr. as guest speaker.

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is Monday, Jan. 19, 2026. The breakfast will be held on Monday at 7:30 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
