Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - DISH Network customers could lose access to WALB Tuesday, March 10 at 7 p.m. ET unless a renewal agreement is reached soon.

If an agreement is not reached, DISH will pull WALB from its lineup Tuesday evening. This means DISH customers will no longer have access to news, First Alert weather, and sports from right here in South Georgia.

If you’re a DISH customer, you can help make sure the shows and news you love remain in their lineup by contacting them at 800-333-3474.

DISH has often disrupted access to local television stations in recent years, but viewers have options through other services.

Those include DIRECTV, your local cable company, along with streaming services from YouTube TV and Hulu Live.

WALB is always available for free if you use an antenna. You can also see our newscasts by downloading our free streaming apps for Roku, Fire TV, and Apple TV. Just search “WALB News 10.”

To stay up to date on all the latest news as it develops, follow WALB on Facebook and X (Twitter). For more South Georgia news, download the WALB News app from the Apple Store or Google Play.
