ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) — Multiple videos surfaced on social media of Deputy Katarrion Harris of the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) during the shooting at J. Lane Theater on Saturday, Oct. 10.

According to the DCSO, the board of commissioners will present a proclamation recognizing his heroic actions.
The event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. in room 100.
