Description
LEE COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Lee County Animal Control rescued a cat found with a can stuck on its head following a call from a resident.
Officials said the rescue was successful, but said it could have ended badly for the cat.
Officials also reminded residents to secure trash, saying litter can be a hazard to wildlife and pets.
Residents are urged not to feed stray cats without making efforts to trap, neuter and return them.
If you or someone you know needs guidance or resources on managing stray cats, call 229-759-6012.
