Description
DOUGLAS, Ga. (WALB) - A Douglas minister has been arrested following an incident involving alleged inappropriate contact with a restaurant employee.
According to the Douglas Police Department, the incident occurred on March 20, at a McDonald’s located on South Peterson Avenue. Officers initially responded after a 20-year-old employee reported that a customer had touched her inappropriately while she was on her lunch break.
The victim told officers the man, identified as 63-year-old Keith Lamar Brinson approached her from behind, made unwanted physical contact, and made a comment toward her. She reported feeling unsafe and left the workplace shortly after the incident.

A witness told police she observed Brinsonn leaning over the victim and touching her lower back. Another individual at the scene reported not seeing the incident. Authorities say surveillance footage was not available due to the restaurant’s camera system being down.
Later, officers returned to the restaurant after receiving a call that the suspect was back on the property. Police made contact with Brinson, who admitted to speaking with the victim but denied any physical contact.
Based on witness statements and the investigation, officers arrested Brinson and charged him with simple battery. He was transported to the local law enforcement center and a warrant was later obtained.
The case remains under investigation.
