COLQUITT COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The driver of the log truck that overturned on Highway 111 in Colquitt County on Friday, Nov. 21, was not injured, according to Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
The truck was headed west on Highway 111 when it reportedly failed to maintain its lane and ran off the right side of the road. This caused the truck to overturn and come to a final rest off the north shoulder in the trees.
GSP said the driver was not injured and no charges were filed.
On Friday, the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office said Highway 111 between Erve Williams Road and Bob Taylor Road intersections through Georgia Highway 202 was briefly shut down.
