Description

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — In the spirit of the spring and Easter season, Cobb County fire personnel took in five abandoned rabbits last week!

The bunnies were left outside a local discount store, Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services said. Unsure what to do with them, the employees took the animals to Fire Station 19 — and, with some impromptu research, the staff learned how to care for them until animal services arrived.

The rabbits will likely be taken to a rescue organization, which will find them new homes.

“Thank you, Station 19, for hosting these Easter Bunnies!” the department posted on social media, along with a few cute pictures of staff enjoying their time with the rabbits.
