ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Coldest night of the season so far tonight. Temperatures will be below freezing starting at 8-9pm through 9am in the morning. Temps bottom out in the low 20s tonight before rebounding nearly 40 degrees to near 60 tomorrow afternoon. Drip your pipes tonight, bring in the pets and plants, limit your time outside and bundle up if you have to go out tonight/early tomorrow morning.
Milder temperatures return and stick around, starting tomorrow afternoon as southerly flow begins to re-establish. Temperatures warm into the 60s and 70s through the work week, with overnight lows steadily warming as well. Lows Tuesday night will float into the mid 30s, and will keep warming into the 40s/50s through the work week. Chances for rain rise Thursday lingering into Friday morning. A few storms may be possible, but it is too early to define any hazards confidently. Mild afternoons and chilly mornings take you into the weekend.
