TUESDAY PM: Showers and storms are developing around lunch time in our southern communities. Temperatures will remain in the upper 80s to low 90s. More storms will continue kick off around 2-3pm and linger until late this evening. Some have the potential to be strong to severe with damaging winds, isolated flash flooding, and frequent lightning.

WEDNESDAY: Morning lows sit in the low to mid 70s. Another sunny start to allow daytime heating to create some fuel for more scattered afternoon showers and storms. Some can be strong to briefly severe with gusty winds and frequent lightning. Afternoon highs top off in the low to mid 90s.

LATE WEEK: Temperatures will stay near average. Ridge riding storms will continue to enhance rain chances for the rest of the work week.

WEEKEND: The same pattern continues with storm chances remaining scattered in the afternoon. Sunday trends drier and hotter.

EARLY WEEK: Summer pattern remains with a few isolated storms possible.
