Description

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) - Victory of Albany and the Jesus Is the Answer Ministry are hosting a free community giveaway this Saturday, March 7, at the Victory of Albany Multiplex on Sylvester Road.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families can pick up free food, clothing, shoes, purses, household items, and furniture.

Food is available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. There is no limit on clothing or household items.

Organizer Rushie Berry said many of the people the organizations serve are grandparents raising several grandchildren. Berry said her goal is to help anyone in need and lift some of that burden.
