TIFTON, Ga. (WALB) —Tift County schools are working to make sure no student is hungry this summer.
Every Tuesday from June 2 to June 23, the school system gives away free breakfast and lunch to students 18 and younger and to those under 21 with special needs.
The county’s summer feeding program provides 7 breakfast and lunch meals at walk-up locations and through mobile bus routes.

The meals can be picked up from these locations on Tuesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
- Omega Elementary: 150 College Avenue, Omega, GA 31775
- Allen Temple AME Church: 1908 South Park Avenue - Tifton
- Dees Apartments: 120 13th Street East – Tifton
- Everette Temple CME Church: 719 South Ridge Avenue - Tifton
- G O Bailey Elementary: 1430 Newton Drive – Tifton
- J T Reddick Elementary: 404 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive - Tifton
- Little Beulah Hill Church: 512 23rd Street West - Tifton
- Matt Wilson Elementary: 510 17th Street West – Tifton
There are also 8 mobile food pickup points that are spread out across Tift County on Tuesdays.
