About the organization

Friends of Jimmy Carter National Historic Park is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the National Park Service in preserving the history and legacy of former President Jimmy Carter and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. The organization raises money for educational programs and works to maintain historic sites throughout the park.

What’s next for Fuller

Fuller will continue to support the organization in a new role as Carter Family Legacy Liaison, the organization said. In that capacity, she will help strengthen the connection between the Carter family legacy, the Friends group, and the National Park Service.

“Kim and her many years of experience will be greatly missed,” Powell said. “We are grateful for her dedicated service to the Friends organization and to the Plains community. We look forward to continuing to work with her in her new role as Carter Family Legacy Liaison.”
