CUTHBERT, Ga. (WALB) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) confirmed it is assisting the Cuthbert Police Department (CPD) with a shooting investigation.

CPD reportedly requested the GBI’s assistance on Sunday, May 10, morning. It is unclear exactly when or where the shooting took place.

The identities and the number of those involved is also unknown.

Randolph County Coroner Rusty Chapman confirmed that he was not called to any homicide cases Sunday or Saturday.

No further information has been confirmed by officials.
