HOMERVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) is assisting the Homerville Police Department with a death investigation in Clinch County.

According to Clinch County Coroner Smith, the incident happened in the Pearidge area, early Wednesday morning. The victim has been identified as Ronald Morris Jr., 49.

Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding Morris’ death.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
