THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WALB) - The GBI is investigating the shooting of a Thomasville man. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The GBI did not release the extent of his injuries on in a digital press release.

Investigators say the shooting occurred at Villa North Apartments, 510 Old Albany Road in Thomasville, on Saturday, March 14.

This is an active GBI investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the GBI Regional Investigative Office in Thomasville at 229-225-4090. Tips can also be submitted by calling 1-800-597-8477. Details are limited in this case.
