ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) special agent was arrested Tuesday for allegedly misusing a Flock license plate reader system, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) said.

Robert “Bobby” Michael Keim, 45, was charged with misuse of a license plate reader system.

The GBI said the GDC asked it to investigate claims of Keim’s misuse on Aug. 18. The GBI said Keim allegedly used the system for non-law enforcement purposes, but did not provide further details.

The arrest is one of many recent instances of alleged misuse of license plate reader systems such as Flock. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office also announced Tuesday that three deputies had resigned after being accused of misusing the county system.
