MOULTRIE, Ga. (WALB) – Beginning Monday, May 5, the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) will start roadwork on Main Street in Moultrie, affecting nighttime traffic for the next few weeks.
The city shared in a Facebook post, crews will be working from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. to mill and repave the stretch of roadway between First Baptist Church and Rich Oil.
GDOT officials estimate the project will take approximately two to three weeks to complete, weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the area and be prepared for possible delays during overnight hours.
