The clarification comes as some Georgia cucumber farmers face order cancellations due to confusion surrounding the recall.

The GDA emphasized that no cucumbers grown in Georgia are affected and that they remain safe and wholesome for consumption.

Officials urge retailers and consumers to continue supporting Georgia farmers, noting that clearing up the misunderstanding is key to preventing further economic harm to local agriculture.
