SASSER, Ga. (WALB) — Georgia Power is replacing a power line pole in Sasser that dates back to 1930, the company posted Thursday, Jan. 1.
The 94-year-old pole was discovered during a routine inspection. Georgia Power said the average pole lasts 55-65 years.
