ATLANTA, Ga. (WALB) - Georgia senators announced major water upgrades.
Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff today announced over $67 million for drinking water improvements across Georgia.
The funding comes from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
These upgrades will help expand access to clean drinking water. They will also boost public health and safety by removing lead pipes.
Senator Ossoff said the law will deliver long-overdue upgrades for years to come.
Senator Warnock said the funds provide peace of mind for Georgia communities.
