Description

GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) - The Grady County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO) announced June 7 at about 2 p.m. that a vehicle crash caused Highway 111 North to shut down. Utility crews are making repairs, GCSO said.

The damage is on Highway 111 North at Woodridge Lane, GCSO said. The sheriff’s office did not specify what repairs need to be made, but it appears that power lines are blocking the roadway.

GCSO suggested that drivers use alternate routes if traveling through the area. They said to take Long Branch Church Road to Highway 188, then Woodland Road to Richter Road back to Highway 111 North.

The repairs are following an accident at mile marker 15 on Highway 111 North, GCSO said. GCSO said there were injuries from the crash, but did not specify any details about the injuries.
