GRADY COUNTY, Ga. (WALB) — Three men are behind bars after a traffic stop on Highway 111 South on Saturday, Dec. 6, according to the Grady County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO).

Deputies stopped a vehicle on Highway 111 South at Pine Park Road about 2 a.m. for an obstructed tag, GCSO said.

During the traffic stop, GCSO said deputies noticed a strong odor of marijuana, prompting a search of the vehicle. Additionally, deputies found two concealed handguns, a quantity of Alpha-PVP — commonly known as “Flakka” — along with scales and small baggies consistent with drug distribution.

“Alpha-PVP (“Flakka”) is a dangerous synthetic stimulant known to cause extreme agitation, paranoia, violent behavior, and life-threatening medical emergencies. Its presence in our community is a serious threat to public safety," GCSO said.

The following men were arrested and charged in connection with the incident:

• Tony Hill, 26, of Tallahassee, Florida
• Ja’Mylon Williams, 24, of Tallahassee, Florida
• Tony Hill, 22, of Tallahassee, Florida

GCSO said all three were charged with:

• Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime
• Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
• Possession of a Schedule I substance with intent to distribute

“If you come to Grady County to sell poison in our community, we will find you, we will arrest you, and we will protect our citizens from your criminal activity—every single time," Sheriff Martin Earl Prince said.
